  5. LOL Oh my! Even with a fake tree you get a mess but not as near as big a mess as that.

  9. What a mess! I'll be buying a new prelit tree today after my little guy decided to pull down this year's tree yesterday and ended up breaking one leg off the tree. Luckily he wasn't hurt and only two insignificant ornaments were broken.

  13. One of the many reason I have a fake tree, lol! I STILL haven't taken it down and wanted to on Monday. Rats!! My head is still killing me and nothing I take is even making a dent into my pain.

A dentist visit is in my very near future.....UGH!!!

    Happy New Year though!

  15. Those darn needles do have a way of clogging up a vacum cleaner too!! We have been getting Scotch Pines and they seem to hold their needles much better than the others. But, I was picking up needles after we drug our tree out on Monday :-)

  16. Yikes! We're taking down the tree this weekend. I was diligent with the water all the way up to Christmas Eve when the presents made it impossible to add fresh water. Hopefully, I can get the thing out w/o too much mess. Just don't try to vacuum it up cause all those needles broke our vacuum one year.

Happy New Years to you too!!

  20. That's the worst part of Christmas. Last year i was still finding needles halfway through the summer. They're impossible to get rid of!
