Footprint Butterflies

This is a project that we have been doing since the kids were babies. From tiny foot prints to some big kid feet they are always cute.

1. Dip your child's feet in some colorful paint and print them on a piece of construction paper.
2. Add the body, face and antennae. Then cut them out:0)
This is a re-post from my retired blog Just For Fun.

  5. Hurray!!!! I'm so glad I came across this post b/c I got my daughter some finger paint and was thinking it was time I took it out. (fearing the mess) Now I'm totally going to try making these with her. She LOVES butterfly bugs and stuff that crawl about. Great seg-way for Easter too!

  9. Great idea! How much feet cleanup was involved after this though? Did you have little footprints all over the floors?

  10. This is precious! To help with cleanup (Sandra) you could probably do the same project with hand prints, too. And then just have the kids wash hands at the sink afterwards. What a wonderful spring project for the little ones!
