Fruity Play Dough

We go through a lot of play dough here at the Adams' house! Stella has just now really started getting into playing with it (without eating it) so I have been pulling it out almost daily for her. This recipe has a great fruity scent and is super easy to make!

  •  1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pack of unsweetened Kool-Aid.
Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium heat (stirring constantly) until it reaches the consistency of mashed potatoes. Remove from heat. When it's cool enough to handle, knead it on a floured surface. Now it's ready to play with! Just store it in a covered container so it doesn't dry out.

  3. What's giving it the fruity smell? The Kool-aide?

    1. It is the Kool-Aid that gives it the fruity scent and the color as well. :)
