Coffee Filter Snowflakes

Every year Aaron and I make these snowflakes out of coffee filters. They are super easy and it's fun to see how different they all turn out.
First, flatten out your coffee filter.
Next, fold it in half.
And fold it again.
And fold it one more time.
Now begin to make cuts along the edges. You can make as many different shapes as you want.
Unfold and your done!
You can hang them anywhere you like. We used a little bit of liquid starch to adhere them to the windows. Just lightly paint the starch over them and wipe off any drips that may occur. Now you have a beautiful snowy window!

  1. Definitely going to be doing this one!!!

  2. That is so cool!! Now, I don't know if I am going to use the snowflakes or my regular Christmas clings. Wow, you even have a button for your other blog.

  3. Love this idea!! much easier to cut than paper.

  4. What a cute idea! Now I know what I'm going to do to help entertain the nieces and nephews on Thanksgiving day. Thanks!!!

  5. Hi Sandy, I came over from SITS....I'm really late from SITSmas! I hope you had a great one.....thanks for stopping by my place. I love this blog and all the ideas you have. I definitely want to do this one for my front window. Maybe my son will "help" ;)....

  6. if you want to make them even more fun try mixing FOOD COLORING with WATER and use a dropper to dye them. I MADE MINE TYE-DYE AND MY LITTLE SISTER LOVES THEM

Thanks for visiting! Come back again!
